Since 2012

Built after Sandy. Refined across 2,800+ jobs.

We started with one focus — mold — because restoration companies always treated it as a secondary service. 14 years later, that focus is still the differentiator.

Founder's story

Frank Vitale — from fire restoration to mold specialist.

Frank spent 11 years in fire and water restoration before going independent in 2012 to focus only on mold — the one job restoration companies always handed off. After Superstorm Sandy flooded thousands of Long Island basements, he built a crew of IICRC-certified techs and earned preferred-vendor status with three home-inspection firms on the Island.

What changed in 2012: NY Article 32 took effect, and suddenly every mold job on Long Island needed a licensed assessor and a licensed remediator — and the same company couldn't be both. Restoration firms stopped touching assessment work. Frank saw the gap, got both sets of credentials, and built a practice that still operates under those walled rules today.

The crew is small on purpose. Pete runs the remediation side, Carlos handles assessment, Angela owns client communications and insurance coordination. Every job gets at least one of them on-site. No subcontractors, no rotating day-labor.

How we operate

Six principles that show up on every job.

Moisture source first

Mold is a symptom. Every job starts with finding what's wet and why — without that, the job comes back.

IICRC S520 protocol

Written containment specs, HEPA filtration, antimicrobial treatment, PRV clearance. Every single job.

NY Article 32 walled arms

Inspection and remediation never share the same job at the same address. State law — we follow it without workarounds.

Insurance-ready documentation

Moisture maps, cause-of-loss narrative, photos, sqft calcs. Angela pre-formats every claim the way adjusters actually process them.

No fear-based sales

If the mold doesn't need remediation, we say so. Most pre-listing mold inspections in LI come back non-actionable — we tell you.

Same crew, start to finish

The tech who quoted the job is the tech who does the work. No bait-and-switch to subcontractors.

Ready to breathe easier?

Same-week scheduling. Crew on-site in days, not weeks.

Free visual inspection, same-day estimate. Licensed assessor handles the test separately from remediation — NY Article 32 compliant from the first call.
